The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Electronic Health Record Modernization (OEHRM) has a requirement for the brand name DI laboratory management system, which includes hardware, software, installation services, associated support and maintenance and training. This action supports multiple Veterans Integrated Services Networks (VISNs) in their efforts to replace the legacy Electronic Health Record (EHR), Veterans Health Information System Technology Architecture, with Cerner’s EHR solution. As part of this Cerner implementation, this procurement is required to integrate the DI laboratory management software with Cerner, which requires implementation and installation services. The interface and services are required in order to implement the new EHR for multiple sites’ go-live dates. This procurement is necessary to properly meet the needs of the multiple VA Medical Centers (VAMC), hospitals and outpatient clinics in order to interface the current DI systems to the Cerner Laboratory Information System/ EHR. The period of performance shall be a base period of 41 months.
