“Titan Alpha, a joint venture between Prometheus Federal Services (PFS) and Atlas Research, was awarded a contract with the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Homeless Programs Office (HPO) to assess the effectiveness of its homeless programs in providing racially equitable services to Veterans.”
“Titan Alpha will offer project management, policy support, and organizational assessments to equip the HPO Racial Equity and Racial Justice (RERJ) Workgroup with the knowledge and framework to reach its goals. These goals include identifying and eliminating racial and ethnic disparities in access to resources offered by VHA specialty homeless programs, supporting VHA homeless program staff as they navigate issues pertaining to race and ethnicity in the workplace, and increasing providers’ capacity to deliver direct patient care that supports Veterans’ diverse experiences.”
“Racial inequities and Veteran homelessness intersect to create an epidemic,” said PFS President Greg Smallwood. “We’re ready to use our expertise in addressing this intersection to find opportunities to improve HPO’s efforts at national, regional, and local levels.”
