Westat recruits industry veteran Daniel Weinberg as a VP for Behavioral Health and Health Policy

Daniel Weinberg “joined Westat as a Vice President for Behavioral Health and Health Policy. He is a seasoned health economist with expertise in health care payment policy and innovative payment and delivery models. Most recently, Dr. Weinberg has focused on leading operations, implementation, and monitoring work to support alternative payment models with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Innovation Center (the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Innovation [CMMI]).

In this new role he will oversee large, complex health services research projects, lead CMS implementation and evaluation efforts, and maintain and enhance client relationships.
