“The Department of Veterans Affairs VA Medical Center intends to award a Five-Year, Base + Four (4), Firm Fixed Price, Sole Source contract for software subscription for CensiTrac: to Censis Technologies, Inc. Censis Technologies Inc. is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for the affiliated CensiTrac software subscription.
Proprietary software and servicing capabilities are peculiar to Censis Technologies, Inc.
The required annual software subscription and services are proprietary to Censis Technologies, Inc. Censis Technologies Inc. is the manufacturer and the sole source supplier and service provider for the CensiTrac software and annual subscription.
A Sole Source Letter has been provided by the OEM describing the proprietary nature of the CensiTrac software and annual subscription. The letter states that only the OEM can sell, market, implement, or instruct the use of CensiTrac, or perform CensiTrac commissioning via proprietary remote server upload and sole source catalog optimization with proprietary data, without the express written consent of Censis Technologies, Inc. Censis Technologies, Inc. is the sole provider of CensiTrac for the North American market.
