Lawelawe Legacy (Legacy), a Native Hawaiian Organization (NHO) announced it established a Board of Advisors led by two industry veterans, Mike Fravell and Justin Bacon. The pair will be responsible for implementing the vision and mission of Legacy with a focus on the long-term strategy and growth. This news comes as the company accelerates its efforts to help federal clients modernize their critical information systems.
Legacy is the newest addition to the well-established Lawelawe Brand, a portfolio of companies that support all ends of the federal marketplace. Legacy is a Hawaii-based technology provider delivering Digital Services, IT Modernization, Cyber Security and Health IT to federal civilian and defense agencies. With a focus on supporting the Native Hawaiian Charity Organization and its members, the company’s profits go to serve the Hawaiian native community through the commissioning of wellness clinics, housing assistance for underserved natives, and youth educational programs.
Mike Fravell stated, “This role is a great opportunity to work directly with our federal customers and partners to support them in solving their most difficult challenges. As an expanding organization, it is a critical time for Legacy, and I am excited to help drive strategy and new areas of growth.”
Asked why he chose to join the Legacy Board, Justin Bacon said “Lawelawe means ‘to care for others’ – being part of an organization that can support both our customer base and the wellbeing of the native Hawaiian communities is a win-win. Mike and I are thrilled to have an opportunity to advise this already outstanding team.”
