- Lead strategic and operational IT governance processes.
- Lead IT strategic and operational planning to support the HHS Mission and achieve goals by fostering innovation, prioritizing IT initiatives, and coordinating the evaluation, deployment, and management of IT systems across the department.
- Drive a service culture with team and with customers – develop feedback loops (metrics and comments) to drive improvements.
- Ensure continuous delivery of high-quality IT services through oversight of service level agreements with end-users and monitoring of IT systems performance.
- Effectively define scope and requirements to support the Mission and drive superior results and outcomes.
- Responsible for exceeding conditions of satisfaction for projects – under budget, ahead of schedule and exceeds customer expectations.
- Coordinate and facilitate consultation with internal customers and stakeholders to define business and systems requirements for new technology implementations.
- Approve, prioritize, and control projects and the project portfolio as they relate to the selection, acquisition, development, and installation of major information systems.”
