Christopher “Chris” Jones, building on a professional career that has spanned the Federal Government in comparable positions with the Navy, Air Force, and Small Business Administration, takes on a new challenge as the Deputy Director, Small Business Programs, for the Air Force District of Washington.
Chris also brings experience providing contracting and program training to acquisition professionals throughout the National Capital Region as well as awarded, and/or administered, contracts cumulatively valued over $2B.
Chris is currently the Deputy Director, Small Business Programs, for the Air Force District of Washington, headquartered at Joint Base Andrews, MD. In this capacity, he helps to ensure prime and subcontracting opportunities are maximized for small businesses.
