CALIBRE seeking Vice President, Information Technology & Chief Technology Officer

“CALIBRE Systems, Inc., an employee-owned Management Consulting and Digital Transformation company, is looking for a Vice President of Information Technology (IT) & Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to oversee all technical aspects of the company.” 

“As a key member of the Corporate Leadership Team, the role of the VP & CTO is to foster innovation, and grow the company through the development and application of new and existing enterprise IT solutions. The CTO shall be empowered to make all executive decisions with regards to the technological interests of the company. The CTO will be responsible for outlining the company’s technological vision, implementing technology strategies, and ensuring that the technological resources are aligned with the company’s business needs. Using an active and practical approach, the VP & CTO will lead all technology aspects of CALIBRE by providing IT leadership and execution in the following ways: 

  • Develop, implement, and refine internal and external enterprise IT technical vision and direction for CALIBRE; 
  • Represent CALIBRE in IT industry forums and be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on all IT related initiatives; 
  • Partner with Growth and Operations Divisions to develop IT solutions that enable client success and mission completion; 
  • Lead and support Technology, Security, and Modernization elements of CALIBRE’s Technology, Tools, and Solutions (TT&S) offerings; 
  • Build out and maintain oversight of the CALIBRE Innovation Center.”

“RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES: 

  • In support of the President & Chief Executive Officer’s (CEO) vision, and in partnership with the Executive Vice President & Chief Operations Officer (COO), and Vice President, Growth Organization, identify opportunities and risks for delivering the company’s IT services, including identification of competitive services, opportunities for innovation, and assessment of marketplace trends, obstacles, and technical hurdles to the success of the business. 
  • Serve as the advisor to Corporate Officers, Vice Presidents, Directors, Project Managers and staff by providing strategic direction and implementation for new technology. 
  • Identify the technology solutions and services required to support clients, partners, suppliers, and internal business operations. 
  • In coordination with the Division Vice Presidents and Vice President, Growth Organization, develop and expand business partnerships, research potential markets / opportunities, and form strategic alliances to support corporate growth…” 

“Required Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, similar information technology-related, or engineering discipline from an accredited institution required. Master’s degree preferred. 
  • 10+ years’ experience in Information Technology or related field, with increasing responsibility in a management and leadership role. 
  • Established industry experience, technical expertise, and credentials. 
  • ITIL, CISSP, CompTIA Project+, CSM, CGEIT, Six Sigma and / or relevant IT certifications preferred. 
  • Experience in several of the following technology areas with expertise in at least one: Digital Transformation and solutions, Predictive Analytics, Data Science and Big Data, DevOps, Software/Application Development, Systems Engineering, System Development, Operations, System Architecture, Cloud Architecture, Cyber Security…”
