“Responsibilities
- Directs TATRC’s strategic direction, development and future growth to include research related IT infrastructure requirements and integration into cloud.
- Works with lab leads and researchers on IT requirements and advising on technologies to improve research and research projects.
- Manages IT acquisitions and budgets. Serves as COR on IT related service contracts.
- Aligns data policy and administration with relevant regulatory, legal and ethical mandates
- Leads regulatory and compliance programs related to data and analytics assets including compliance with the Clinger-Cohen Act and the Federal Information Technology Acquisition Reform Act (FITARA).
- Develops and directs all networking safeguards to reduce the risk of outside breaches and protect sensitive internal and external client information
- Consistently evaluates technical efficiency and makes changes as necessary.
- Prepare briefing papers and oral presentations.
