Maia Laing, an industry leader who focused on interoperability, open data, streamlining of processes and reduction of burden as HHS Director of Strategy and Innovation, has taken on a new challenge as VP of Product at Optum. Most recently Maia worked in the HHS Immediate Office of the Assistant Secretary of Health directing the innovation portfolio for advancements of Sickle Cell Disease.
