HHS ASPR taps Military Health SME to lead the National Disaster Medical System

This established leader, armed with over three decades of service, to include recent experience serving as Chief of the Joint Coordination Center in support of the Department of Health and Human Services’ Federal response to the COVID-19 pandemic, takes on a new role in 2021 leading the National Disaster Medical System within the Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR).
