This acquisition provides an intelligent video monitoring solution, to include virtual bed-side rails, which utilizes video cameras in patient rooms combined with sophisticated virtual motion detection software to indicate the likelihood of a patient fall. The system facilitates continuous remote monitoring of patients by staff positioned at designated nurse stations, and is expected to greatly reduce patient falls, thus increasing the overall safety of AVAHCS patients.
