Cerner seeking Vice President & Chief Medical Information Officer

“As the Vice President & Chief Medical Information Officer, you will provide strategic direction and lead the VA Electronic Health Record Modernization functional team and the Clinical Adoption team. You will spearhead the development of the vision, strategy and have accountability for clinical relationships within our client base. You will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining clinical relationships within our client base, prospects, and the overall Veterans Health Administration and drive reference-ability of our clients, designing strategies that directly impact reference-ability efforts. As a strategic leader you will be able to lead and influence clinical discussions with clients and prospects, promoting the alignment and adoption of technology enabled workflow…” 

“Basic Qualifications:

  • MD or DO from an accredited academic institution or comparable clinical training 
  • At least 15 years’ experience within operations management and clinical or healthcare work 
  • At least 7 years people management experience 
  • Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position 
  • Due to the client contract you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizen…”
