CMS OIT seeking Director to lead Division of Security & Privacy Compliance (DSPC)

“This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Office of Information Technology (OIT), Information Security & Privacy Group (ISPG), Division of Security & Privacy Compliance (DSPC), Woodlawn, MD.

As a Supervisory IT Specialist (Security), GS-2210-15, you will serve as the Director, and exercise administrative and technical direction and control over the division’s functional responsibilities and its staff.”

“Responsibilities:

  • Direct and lead the development and implementation of policies and procedures to analyzes IT projects.
  • Act as a representative of the division when in contact with the State and local government officials, representatives of private health organizations.
  • Provide risk based and business driven enterprise direction on security and privacy requirements throughout the information systems development life cycle.
  • Manage the CMS Data Privacy Safeguards Program to ensure compliance with privacy and security requirements.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of project plans.”
