“Responsibilities
- Lead solution development and proposal authorship for assigned government bids in support of Proposal Manager– including white papers, quick-turnaround RFI responses, and full RFPs responses
- Help manage the full proposal lifecycle – from initial solution development, to proposal writing, to final editing and compliance assurance, to production and submission
- Develop compliant and compelling proposal content in accordance with RFP requirements
- Provide editing support (for both content and compliance) for other writers and Senior Proposal Managers at different stages of the bid development process
- Work with technical subject matter experts, operations teams, and teaming partners to develop bid and proposal strategies (and associated content) designed to enhance our bid position and to increase win probabilities… “
“Requirements
- A successful candidate for this position will have the following qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as senior technical lead and/or program manager on government contracts
- Minimum 7-10 years of proven experience in government proposal writing and solution development required
- Proficiency in analyzing and dissecting RFP requirements and evaluation criteria with agility
- Knowledge of government contracting vehicles including GSA, agency specific, and set-aside IDIQs
- Strong skills in writing for compelling messaging
- Knowledge of practice areas such as system/software engineering, logistics, business process engineering, project management
- Knowledge of standards and methodologies and project management practices such as PMBOK
