Over the past several months you have seen announcements about the acquisition of G2Xchange by MileMarker10. This Q&A with Susan Sharer, FedHealthIT President and now CEO of MileMarker10 (MM10), is intended to share more details with you about our future direction and to spotlight a new tool that we’ll be releasing this week to better support your growth activities.
Did anything change in the mission and focus of G2Xchange or FedHealthIT, with the acquisition by MileMarker10?
G2Xchange and FedHealthIT were established to support the Federal Health and Federal Civilian IT and Consulting communities with information, actionable insight and business intelligence to support their missions and those of their Federal Government clients. That has not changed.
One of the motivators behind the decision for me to lead and chart the future direction of MM10 is to ensure that continuity and focus.
Why the Acquisition?
Part of the inspiration and drive behind our acquisition was to be able to grow, to take to the next level our products and services to support growth efforts of our Federal contractors. To that end, we have already begun working on new tools to drive better intelligence, along with new resources to support our Members and their teams. We have also been building our team, adding more people to support Members, more people to drive research and content, and more people to support our growing tools and resources.
What’s Ahead for 2021?
Well, we know that 2020 has been a crazy year. I don’t know that anyone would disagree there. But you know, we managed to keep things moving at a great pace, while pivoting our events and delivering even more of them.
What does 2021 have in store? I don’t think anyone can completely answer that question. What we do know though, is that we will be continuing to grow, to bring what this community needs and wants. We have several new products in development, with the same goal of simplifying the way our customers do business with the Government, and we will roll them out based on our vision and incorporated feedback from the community.
Is There Anything Else You Want to Share?
I just want to say thank you again to this incredible community. We have loved the way we all came together through 2020, Zoom and all, and we look forward to continuing the journey with you.
