“The Executive Director will assist the Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary with managing and executing a budget of approximately $10,250,000. In carrying out the duties of the position, the Executive Director actively collaborates with executive level leadership to ensure that the work of the organization is aligned and strategically linked to the direction and the mission of the Department. The duties include but are no limited to:
- Serves as the Executive Director and principal advisor to the Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for OEI.
- Assists the Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary in developing integrated program plans, objectives, and transformation initiatives for the VA.
- Guides the formulation of Enterprise Program Integration Office resources, requirement reviews, program plans, accomplishments; assesses program effectiveness; and recommends to the Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary corrective actions or improvements.
- Provides executive leadership to the Department’s enterprise program planning process in partnership with the Administrations and Staff Offices.
- Provides high-level coordination and technical expertise to ensure effective management of enterprise integrated program management planning to ensure effective implementation of the Department’s transformation initiatives.
