Jennifer Henius served as the business lead for the VA’s National Caregiver Support Program. In her role, Jennifer has been heavily focused on policy implementation and supporting IT infrastructure, defining requirements to modernize the program’s IT system and address known gaps competitively securing more than 10M in IT funding on this multi-year complex effort.
Most recently, Jennifer worked with VA’s Office of Information Technology and United States Digital Service to develop, test and deploy a new Salesforce solution known as the Caregiver Record Management Application (CARMA).
Jennifer was also central to developing clinical and administrative requirements for VA’s future Cerner EHR implementation and she worked with the Department of Defense to develop IT requirements to facilitate smooth access for Veterans and Caregivers to Military Commissaries, Exchanges and Recreation Facilities under the Purple Heart and Disabled Veteran Equal Access Act of 2018.
