CMS inks UiPath Licenses contract for the purpose of development of Robotics Process Automation

Notice ID: OHC-393-2020-0032

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) intends to negotiate and award a sole source purchase order to the Carahsoft Technology Corporation, 11493 Sunset Hills Road, Suite 100, Reston, VA 20191 for Uipath Licenses for CMS for the purpose of development of Robotics Process Automation.

The sole source award will be made under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 235 ( C ) ( 1 ) as implemented by FAR6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies and Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.  A justification and approval is currently being processed for this requirement. This requirement is intended as a sole source procurement because Carahsoft Technology’s Uipath is compatible with the Bizflow software as it relates to the UICPOSEOO part of the Orchestrator part of the license.  This is unique to the Carahsoft Uipath License.  No other company has this function that makes it compatible with the Bizflow Enterprise License.

This effort requires the procurement of the Uipath licenses for CMS’s purpose of development of Robotics Process Automation. OHC requires the latest version of IT products as the use of Robotics Process Automation Tools will allow collection of data (usage) necessary for reporting.
