HHS Medicare Hearings and Appeals office adds rising NIH IT Lead as new Management Information Branch Chief

Rahul Datta, a rising technology leader at HHS, will bring perspective gained in his recent role with NIH leading the technical projects to enhance work flows, enhance existing system interfaces, data entry and maintaining data integrity, as he takes on a new position as a Branch Chief with the Department of Health and Human Services Office of Medicare Hearings and Appeals.

In his new role Rahul will be overseeing the day to day operations of the Management Information Branch, which is responsible for data collection, retrieval, monitoring, and analysis to ensure successful agency operations and accomplishment of the agency mission.

Prior roles include:

  • Technical Project Lead – National Institutes of Heath
  • Sr. Subject Matter Expert/Contractor for Social Security Administration – OBXtek
  • Programmer/Analyst – PangoMedia
