Solicitation: HT0011-19-C-0007-P00005

Award: HT0011-19-C-0007

Approval is being requested for a bridge contract option modification of the Disability Evaluation System (DES) contract to the incumbent Booz Allen Hamilton, Inc. to span the extended period of time between the end of the DES bridge contract, (HT0011-19-C-0007).

The option will be for six months with two (2) three (3)-month option periods to continue work currently being performed. This will provide continuity of services for professional and management support services to DHA, Deputy Assistant Directorate (DAD) Medical Affairs (MA), as the contract would otherwise expire 15 January 20. The Clinical Support Division CSD) and Warrior Care, aligned under DAD MA, has submitted the required procurement documents to the Professional Services – Contracting Division (PS-CD) and continues to work with PS-CD to amend the documents in order to initiate a solicitation, and award of a follow-on contract. The bridge modification will prevent a gap in necessary services and will provide the agency with time to complete the already in-progress acquisition process for award of a follow-on contract.
