HHS ONC taps new Deputy Division Director for Office of Policy’s Interoperability Division

Mark Knee, building on perspective gained supporting the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology through a series of progressively responsible roles, has recently taken on a new role as Deputy Director for the ONC Office of Policy’s Interoperability Division.

Mark brings experience that includes as an Advisor and Analyst guiding the development of Federal health information and health technology priorities, policies, and regulations, and providing advice and strategic support to senior officials in advancing and modifying programs designed to protect and improve the health of the nation.

Prior roles include:

  • Senior Policy Advisor, Office of Policy’s Regulatory Affairs Division – Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC)
  • Senior Policy Analyst, Office of Policy’s Regulatory Affairs Division – Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC)
  • Healthcare Analyst/Presidential Management Fellow – U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM)
