Octo Consulting Group seeking Senior IT Portfolio Manager for HHS

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the OCIO in performing its quality assurance processes throughout the enterprise to include scheduling, coordination, evaluation, and critique of documentation associated with program and project management reviews for full life cycle following the office’s policies and procedures; preparation of governance board meetings and creating related status reports and metrics.
  • Provide support to the HHS EPLC process for adopting various methodologies and technologies to improve effectiveness and efficiency by recommending process improvements, developing standard operating procedures, creating communication plans and materials; and conducting research and analysis on governance approach and processes for identified methodologies and/or technologies.
  • Perform integration of data from various sources through manual or automated processes to ensure decision makers have the information necessary to make better programmatic decisions by developing an approach to assess data quality…
  • Establish portfolio/project performance goals and targets, monitoring performance, and reporting against performance criteria.
  • Assess the performance management program and its outcomes to ensure that goals are consistently being measured against metrics in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Establish and perform risk management analysis for individual investments/projects in support of the HHS EPLC process and for the IT portfolio as a whole in support of the CPIC process.

Requirements:

  • At least 10 years of post-collegiate professional experience
  • At least 8 years of experience with Federal acquisitions
  • Experience interacting with and presenting to agency senior IT leadership
  • Experience working with the HHS EPLC Framework
