DHA Sources Sought: Military Health Systems Service (MHSS) Helpdesk Support, Information Management and Information Technology (IM/IT) services

Solicitation: 0011485501

This is a non-personal services contract to provide Information Management and Information Technology (IM/IT) services to the Dwight David Eisenhower Army Medical Center (DDEAMC).

In an effort to provide a more flexible, adaptable, effective and integrated system to manage our facilities, the Defense Health Agency (DHA) is assuming administration and management responsibilities from the Army, Navy and Air Force for all military hospitals and clinics. DHA will initially oversee these facilities through a direct support relationship with the Military Medical Department intermediate management organizations. The DHA will relieve the Military Departments of this support during a transition period in which responsibility for specific health care and administrative functions are fully transferred from the Military Departments to the DHA. Currently, DDEAMC is transitioning under the Defense Health Agency (DHA) and areas of coverage are subject to change.

The IM department currently develops, integrates and maintains information technology and communication capabilities onsite in support of healthcare delivery systems within DDEAMC consisting forty-five (45) outlying clinics. This includes Rodriguez Army Health Clinic (RAHC) Fort Buchanan, Puerto Rico and Southern Command (SOUTHCOM), Miami, FL and its sub-unified command operationally assigned to Special Operations Command South (SOCSOUTH), Homestead Air Reserve Base, FL and Camp Shelby, Hattiesburg, MS.

Objectives:

  • Support the DDEAMC Health Care mission by providing prompt, knowledgeable, consistent and customer focused IT support services.
  • Align the CSC contract with the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) service model through best practices and will increase accuracy in service application and measurements of success.
  • Champion customer focus throughout IMD by providing a single point-of-contact service support strategy.
  • Measure customer satisfaction with overall quality of service and costs, when applicable.

This effort includes duties in support of the CSC, Web Development, Networking, Project Management, Cyber Security and Medical Photography for DDEAMC and its supported locations.
