This Notice of Intent to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order is provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Office of Acquisition Services (OAS) on behalf of Public Health Data Standards, Office of the Director National Center for Health Statistics Centers for Disease Control and Prevention 3311 Toledo Rd.,Hyattsville, MD 20782(PHDSODNCHS).
PHDSODNCHS has a requirement of service contract that will create and maintain and official machine readable electronic distribution format for ICD-10-CM, in support of the National Library of Medicine’s (NLM) Unified Medical Language System (UMLS) Metathesaurus, the National Health Information Network (NHIN), and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, apply state-of-the-art electronic methods and tools to ICD-10-CM format production, based on open standards and open systems, explicitly including the Apelon DTS, supporting this in concert with the current business processes and editing capabilities using Folio, and provide training and consultation to NCHS staff related to these capabilities and formats.
