VA seeking Deputy Executive Director Asset Enterprise Mgmt

“The Deputy Executive Director serves as the second-in-command to the Executive Director and fully shares in authorities and responsibilities of the Executive Director for the direction of OAEM’s programs. The DED is responsible for overseeing and directing all OAEM program activities for VA capital asset management.” 

“The Deputy Executive Director serves as a liaison with internal customers, such as offices within the Office of Management, Administrations and Staff Offices.”  

“Responsibilities 

Some of the major duties include but are not limited to the following: 

  • Oversee and direct all Office of Asset Enterprise Management programs for capital asset management. 
  • Oversight of all public development programs. 
  • Develop and present briefings to both VA executives and private entities. 
  • Serve as liaison to internal customers as well as external customers (OMB, GAO and Congress). 
  • Ascertain operation consideration and influences having potential impact on OAEM programs.”
