The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Information and Technology (OIT), VA Informatics and Computing Infrastructure (VINCI) as a Health Services Research and Development Resource Center requires support for DaVINCI efforts to employ a common data model (CDM), and modular analytical platform that support benefits, services, quality, and safety investigations at the population level. Specifically, VA requires Contractor support to obtain full access to data sources for both Department of Defense (DoD) and VA; provide system and database administration and database maintenance services to support the DaVINCI project; provide source DoD/VA data transfer and documentation; provide VA and DoD with Observable Medical Outcomes Partnership (OMOP) CDM data analysis and mapping design recommendations; provide quality assurance and testing of the extract transfer load process; and provide training in the use of health data.
