“Responsibilities:
- Provides leadership, management, coordination, implementation and oversight of day-to-day operations for all aspects of complex, NIH-wide IT infrastructure and related IT services.
- Areas include network, data center, high performance computing, unified communication and collaboration, software and systems engineering, desktop support, service desk, and security.
- Works closely with the Director and Deputy Director to coordinate, organize, and allocate resources to best address IT service goals and to support new program initiatives to meet high priority NIH requirements.
- Develops and coordinates successful delivery of NIH’s information technology and scientific computing programs with NIH Institutes and Centers and other Federal customers.
- Fosters an environment conducive to teamwork and empowerment of supervisors and employees in formulating and delivering innovative and agile IT solutions and approaches
- Ensures CIT takes appropriate measures to remain compliant with key legislative, regulatory, and policy requirements.
- Serves as a role model for the institute, demonstrating integrity and fairness, and adhering in work and behavior to the highest ethical and business practice standards. Promote diversity in all activities to recruit, retain, and reward employees.”
