Longtime CMS Blue Button Innovator and Developer Evangelist takes on new challenge

More than 5 years after initially engaging with CMS as a US Department of Health and Human Services/CMS Entrepreneur in Residence, Mark Scrimshire, an interoperability leader responsible for the Design and Implementation of the new Blue Button 2.0 API and promoting the API to Payers, Developers and Beneficiaries, takes on a new challenge as Chief Interoperability Officer at Onyx Technologies.

Prior roles include:

  • Entrepreneur in Residence – US Department of Health and Human Services/ CMS
  • Entrepreneur In Residence – NewWave Telecom & Technologies, Inc.
  • Director, Cloud and Hosting Operations – 3M Health Information Systems
