There is good news for GSA as the 8(a) STARS II contract, used widely across the broad Federal Sector – DoD, FedCiv and Health – has reached the $15B contract ceiling. This is bad news for Prime contract holders as “no additional task order awards may be issued against 8(a) STARS II”, except under certain conditions. There will be other winners and losers depending on your position as we head into a busy procurement season.
