The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 04 (NCO 04), intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Document Storage Systems, Inc. (DSS, Inc.), 12575 US Hwy 1 Ste 200, Juno Beach, FL, 33408-2478, in accordance with FAR 8.405-6. All nine Veterans Integrated Service Network 04 (VISN04) medical centers currently utilize the DSS Inc. Consult Tracking Manager (CTM).
The CTM provides an instant, up-to-date dashboard view of the status of all patient consults in a clinical environment. This software application shows all actions required by a user s role, and when a task is complete, it automatically moves through a queue and displays on the next person s task list as an open item.
The government intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with DSS, Inc. to procure the CTM Plus edition, which expands the functionality of CTM to extend usage into community care and PACT workflows by the addition of the following features: additional community care filters and grid support, age from CID filters, Return to Clinic Order (RTC) grid and filters, re-engineered custom groups, custom label assignment.
Any web-based software solution to meet this requirement must include current VA Technical Reference Model approval to interface with the Veterans Health Information Systems and Technology Architecture (VistA).
