Update: Protest forces termination of VA $438M Technology Provisioning-as-a-Service task

The Department of Veterans Affairs recently terminated this contract due to corrective action being taken as a result of a GAO protest. No further details have been provided as to next steps.

While few who read this will have been in a position to bid this task to acquire a host of technology devices on an as-needed basis, to include PCs/Laptops, Hardware, Software, Asset Management and Warranty Support Services, the sheer size and spend of this award will help ensure this small business is an increasingly popular partner to get to know.

Led by President and CEO, Cindy Mason, Service-Disabled Veteran-owned 8(a), HUBZone and EDWOSB Cynergy beat out 10 other bidders to be awarded this 2-year task to provide VA with laptops, tablets, personal computers, adjustable monitors, hardware, software, asset management, imaging services and warranty support services. The task was competed using NASA SEWP V as a service-disabled Veteran-owned small business set-aside.
