VA OEHRM seeking Command Action Team Program Manager

“This position is a direct report to the Executive Director for the Department of Veterans Affairs’ (VA) Office of Electronic Health Record Modernization (OEHRM), within the Office of the Deputy Secretary of VA (DEPSECVA), where the incumbent serves as Command Action Team Program Manager. You will manage EHRM deployment requirements as the dedicated, site-level support that assists with critical path success and will mitigate site-level issues.”

“Major Duties:

  • Provides program management accountability and project ownership for the Command Action Team; with responsibility for work plan development, work breakdown structure, team task assignment and execution.
  • Identifies, analyzes and evaluates operational or planned activities, manages project schedules, and modifies as needed during project lifecycle.
  • Responsible for keeping OEHRM Executive Director apprised of all significant program accomplishments or deficiencies, as well as politically sensitive issues impacting the OEHRM program to assist with decision-making processes germane to administrative and programmatic aspects of agency operations and management.
  • Leads, facilitates, or participates in meetings, conferences and discussions. Represents OEHRM and is expected to resolve discrepancies and resource constraints.
  • Plans the work to be accomplished by the unit, assigns work to employees, and establishes production or quality standards for the unit’s work.”
