MAXIMUS seeking Sr. Director Account Manager Fed Health IT

“The incumbent has deep working knowledge and work experience in the Health IT field with direct experience in the Federal space at agencies such as CMS, CDC, NIH, FDA, HHS and others. The incumbent will work closely with the delivery, business development and solutions teams to ensure continued delivery and focus on the introduction of new solutions and business opportunities for MAXIMUS Federal in the HIT field.” 

“The incumbent will be conversant in functional program needs, current technologies, federal HIT stakeholders and their challenges and needs as well as solution/deal shaping, creating and maintaining relationships with current and future clients and partners, and the management of PnL for projects, programs or accounts.”

“The incumbent will report directly to the Vice President for MAXIMUS Federal Health IT.”

“Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • This candidate will have a focus on opportunity identification, development and execution of capture plan and acquisition of new work
  • He/she provides oversight to the multiple programs led by multiple project managers, utilizing both direct and subcontracted labor
  • Managerial oversight is required for the financial, subcontract management and Human Capital well-being of the contract, with a primary focus of ensuring delivery excellence andPnLresponsibilities are achieved 
  • Ideal candidate would have a focus on tactical and strategic customer relationship management as well as being able to seamlessly integrate with project, program, and division and segment organizations
  • Experience in participating directly with business development and capture teams is required…”

“Education and Experience Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business or related discipline. An MBA or Master Degree in Engineering Management, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related discipline is preferred
  • Minimum of (12) tenyears’with Federal HIT experience 
  • Minimum of (12) ten years as a program manager leading large, complex programs in a federal government environment
  • Minimum (7) five years’ experience managing teams of 50+ members
  • Minimum of (7) five years’ experience managing multiple concurrent development efforts valued at $2+Million annually…”

  • Assist projects on technical matters to address needs of the client and other stakeholders. 
  • Serve as the technical lead and key point of contact for the design of complex information technology solutions. 
  • Serve as the key technical point of contact in developing the technical solutions in response to Request for Proposals (RFPs). 
  • Participate in pre-marketing activities and the writing of proposals. 
  • Develop and present technical white papers and solution presentations…”
