CDC to award Global Immunization Division Strategic Framework 2021-2030 to Deloitte

This is a notice of intent to sole source. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) 2939 Brandywine Road, Atlanta, GA 30341 intends to sole source, in accordance with FAR Part 13.106-1(b)(1) for specific consultant advise to assist and develop the 2021-2030 CDC Global Immunization Strategic Framework (GIFD).  The CDC intent is to sole source the following requirement to Deloitte Consulting LLP, 1919 N Lynn St, Arlington VA 22209.

The North American Industry Classification System code is 541611. The Global Immunization Division (GID) has been operating under a 5-year strategic framework (2016-2020), which acts as a guiding document for the range of immunization-related activities across CDC global programs and with key external partners, including the World Health Organization and UNICEF. GID is now working on the next (2021-2030) CDC Global Immunization Strategic Framework (GISF) anticipating possible changes in the way the agency achieves its goals, including working through Ministries of Health and governments around the world in addition to multilateral partners (e.g., WHO, UNICEF). The first phase of the 2021 – 2030 CDC GISF development process is now completed.

The second phase of the 2021–2030 CDC GISF development process will include design and implementation of activities to:

  • obtain input on the initial draft of the 2021-2030 CDC GISF from GID staff and from other CDC Divisions, Offices, and Programs with subject matter and disease-specific expertise related to global immunization;
  • develop a second draft of the 2021-2030 strategic framework;
  • obtain input on the second draft from USG stakeholders and partners, and from other external partner organizations; and
  • obtain input to inform development of a draft implementation plan for the 2021-2030 GISF.

Deloitte Consulting successfully completed the Phase 1 development process. Therefore, they have specific extensive knowledge from Phase 1 that is required to implement Phase 2.
