Sierra7, a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Reston, VA, has entered a seven year agreement with Optum Public Sector Solutions (“Optum”) to provide staffing support services to the Department of Veterans Affairs Community Care Network (CCN) in Region 2 and Region 3. Authorized by the 2018 VA MISSION Act, “the new Veteran Community Care program provides Veterans with a greater choice over their health care, and allows VA to deliver world-class, seamless customer service either through a VA facility or community provider.” Sierra7 will support Veterans who receive CCN services in 22 states across the Midwest and Southeast US by providing Enrollment & Eligibility coordination, Customer Service / Call Center support, Records Management, Information Technology support, and Patient Safety Peer Reviews.
