This position will serve as the Supervisory IT Cybersecurity Specialist for the Cybersecurity and Information Technolgy Audits Division within the Office of Audit Services. The incumbent will assist the Assistant Inspector General (AIG) in providing oversight and strategic direction to the OAS Cybersecurity and Information Technology Audit Division (CITAD) whose cybersecurity and information and technology (IT) work identifies and makes HHS aware of risks and vulnerabilities not yet enumerated by HHS during the normal course of operating its systems and enables the Department to enhance and maintain its cybersecurity posture.
If selected as the Supervisory IT Cybersecurity Specialist, GS-2210-15, the incumbent will be responsible for performing the below functions:
- Review, analyze, and provide budget formulation and execution for special CITAD projects and resource needs, among multiple stakeholders, and serves as the cybersecurity expert.
- Manage and monitor cybersecurity and IT audits of data and systems maintained by or on behalf of HHS and its Operating Divisions and Staff Offices.
- Provide expert guidance for implementing cybersecurity and IT strategies to support audit requirements.
