The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and quality control necessary, except as specified in Paragraph 3.0 as Government Furnished, to perform Centralized Credentialing and Privileging Services to the Army National Guard (ARNG) Office of the Chief Surgeon (CSG) and to the Air National Guard (ANG) Office of the Air Surgeon (SG), as defined in this PWS. The contractor shall provide comprehensive centralized credentialing and privileging program management and implementation. The contractor shall provide operational program support for credentialing and privileging of privileged and non-privileged Health Care Providers (HCPs), to include; new accessions into the ARNG/ANG, maintenance of current credentialed and privileged HCPs, mobilizations and training requirements for HCPs, program training for users, coordinators, and privileging authorities, technical system support within the system of record Joint Centralized Credentials Quality Assurance System (JCCQAS), and conducting the Credentials and Privileging Certification Board. In total, the ARNG/ANG credential and privilege approximately 5000 Military and Non-Military HCPs, for example: Physicians, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, Dentists, Directors of Psychological Health, Optometrists, and Pharmacists. In the context of healthcare, “credentialing” describes a process of assessing and reviewing the qualifications of the health care practitioner. The credentialing process includes review of the licensure, training and education of skilled health care providers. Additionally, it assures their clinical competency and that they maintain regulatory compliance in their scope of practice.
