This project will be broken up into two phases:
Phase 1
- Review and assess the current architecture of the HINGE system including:
- System login, encryption, and database security
- Current communication protocols between individual HINGE installations and centralized analysis server
- Back-end application programming interface (API) (needs to work as intended with HINGE web interface, dashboard, and future tools)
- Provide strategic consultation on best of breed technologies to leverage for current and future requirements
- Identify most applicable industry standard design patterns for use
Phase 2
- Provide estimate to improve HINGE system to include:
- System login, encryption, and database security;
- Current communication protocols between individual HINGE installations and centralized analysis server
- Back-end application programming interface (API) (needs to work as intended with HINGE web interface, dashboard, and future tools).
- Site the specific authentication method required (each Veteran Affairs (VA)) facility can only see non-anonymized data at the analysis server for patients treated at their own facility)…
