Perspecta seeking Business Development Executive for DHA

“Perspecta is seeking a Business Development Executive to cover the Defense Health Agency (DHA). This is a full-time position with Perspecta. The candidate that fills this position will be expected to do the following:

  • Act as the lead Business Development Executive supporting the Health Business Group 
  • Work closely with the capture, proposal, account, and offering teams to understand the scope of the engagement and contract in order to provide requisite analysis/information and recommendations to the pursuit and account teams. 
  • Lead deal teams and represent the company to the customer for all technology-related opportunities in support of the DHA. Emphasis is placed on large, new programs. 
  • Assemble all required resources/skills to support opportunity qualification and capture 
  • Possess a strong understanding of Perspecta’s capabilities and ability to engage a prospective client in meaningful discussions on his or her programmatic and technical needs…” 

“Education and Experience Required: 

  • 10 years’ experience in Sales, Capture or Solution Development support for professional services firms that contract to DHA. 
  • Formally credited with multiple prime contract wins in DHA. 
  • Strong working knowledge of DHA’s Directorates and their subordinate centers and offices. 
  • Typically 9+ years directly related experience in IT Sales/Capture/Solution Development and/typically 12+ years in complex IT service business environment…”

  • High level of vertical industry knowledge in IT domains. 
  • Able to influence deals where the company is not the low-cost provider. 
  • In-depth vertical solution expertise. 
  • Acts as a Strategic Partner, Trusted Advisor.
