NIH NLM to tap MSC for additional Office of Computer and Communications Systems Support

Re: Contract HHSN316201300006W

The purpose of this requirement is to acquire complex IT services to support the Office of Computer and Communications Systems, NLM in the development, programming and maintenance of OCCS projects and initiatives.

The contractor has unique qualifications providing services to the National Library of Medicine from qualified and experienced personnel to support the system administration, programming and maintenance of NLM projects and initiatives. The need for this action was due to the dissolution of a program office and re-organization of requirements. The tasks needed fit within the scope of this task order that is already in place. Incorporating this increase in effort to this task order, prevents procuring a duplicated requirement and a gap in services needed.

This action increases task hours under the current services being performed by the Medical Science and Computing Inc.
