Looking to leverage her extensive experience with the Agency, CMS has tapped seasoned Agency executive Melanie Combs-Dyer, who has worked to promote interoperability between clinicians, health care payers, and patients with a history of working to administer the Medicare Fee-For-Service program and experience developing large-scale national solutions to allow providers to electronically submit medical record documentation to Medicare, to serve as Senior Advisor for the Office of the Administrator.
