OIS needs to ensure security awareness program planning throughout the VA enterprise to cultivate an IT security-aware workforce. The OIS team is challenged with collecting, analyzing, aggregating and disseminating the information necessary to provide situational awareness to OIS management, as well as the necessity of making risk-based decisions with organizational impacts.
OIS is composed of a Front Office, a Program Integration Office, and 2 Executive Directors that require support, which include Information Security Policy and Strategy and Information Security Operations.
To achieve this goal, the Program Integration Office requires Contractor support to navigate through the challenges inherent in an organization the size of VA, specifically working with OI&T organizations to encourage conformance to security requirements and to build collaboration across the enterprise to create a vigilant and IT security-aware culture.
The Contractor shall provide program planning support, including planning and control, and strategic program planning for the OIS Business Office.
