HHS HRSA seeking Chief Technology Officer

“IT Specialists (INFOSEC) are a mission critical occupation for HRSA. These positions are responsible for the analysis of system and/or security requirements, the development and implementation of mission critical applications for the agency’s Information Technology operations.”  

“As the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) IT Specialist, you serve as the principal advisor to HRSA’s Chief Information Officer and other senior executives on all substantive matters pertaining to HRSA information technology operations and security services.” 

“Your major duties and responsibilities include: 

  • Leading the development and maintenance of an ongoing strategic planning program, which has measurable outcome objectives to ensure quality performance and timely customer service within OIT to HRSA staff and in alignment with the Department of Health and Human Services Information Technology Strategic Plan. 
  • Identifying opportunities to utilize and implement emerging and secure technologies into HRSA’s practices and operations. 
  • Developing data strategies to meet mission needs. 
  • Implementing security mitigation techniques to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the organization’s information, information systems, and IT infrastructure and applications in accordance with policies, procedures, security techniques, and Federal regulations…”
