Greetings! Welcome to the summer edition of the Program Executive Office, Defense Healthcare Management Systems (PEO DHMS) newsletter, The Scope. Inside this issue, you will read the recent accomplishments of the PEO DHMS team to achieve our interoperability and modernization goals.
As PEO, people are my priority, and ensuring we have the right people in the right place to deliver solutions is critical to the success of this program. At the end of April, senior PEO DHMS leadership joined the Leidos Partnership for Defense Health in Kansas City to view demonstrations of the Cerner data center and its capabilities. During this time, we discussed challenges as well as opportunities to advance health IT as we move forward with our Wave deployment.
