“The Program Manager is responsible for planning and managing program resources to execute development projects or project components from design phase through implementation. Interpret market requirements and convert to program deliverables.”   

“Responsibilities 

  • Perform day-to-day management of overall contract support operations, possibly involving multiple projects and groups of personnel at multiple locations 
  • Organize, direct, and coordinate the planning and production of all contract support activities 
  • Support developing and improving processes required to effectively operate the organization and its infrastructure to affect strategic and tactical planning and execution within or across task areas 
  • Use industry-best standards and proven methodologies that ensure all task activities are identified, documented, and tracked so that the task can continuously be evaluated and monitored for timely and quality service 
  • Develop relationships with teaming partners and industry associations to help drive partnerships…”

“Minimum Qualifications 

  • 7+ years of Health IT program management experience 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Program Management, Business Management, or 10 years of experience as a project manager in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree…”

“Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience with a Department of Veterans’ Affairs (VA)  
  • Knowledge of the VA environment, including business and technical organizational structures…”
