NIH Gala: An Evening for Hope

The annual An Evening for Hope Gala benefits The Children’s Inn at NIH, a nonprofit that provides free lodging and a wide range of supportive services to families of children with rare and serious illnesses whose best hope is a clinical trial or study at the NIH Clinical Center.

The NIH Clinical Center is the world’s largest hospital dedicated to biomedical research, driving medical discoveries that have led to new treatments and cures for a wide range of diseases, including the first chemotherapeutic cures for childhood leukemia, the first use of immunotherapy to treat cancer, the first treatment for AIDS, and many more. An Evening for Hope is The Children’s Inn’s most important fundraiser.

Proceeds raised from gala tickets, sponsorships and donations allow for The Children’s Inn to provide free lodging and supportive services to more than 1,700 seriously ill children and their families every year from across the United States and the world.

When: Saturday, May 11, 2019
Where: The Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner
