Held just outside of Washington, D.C. at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel and Conference Center, this year’s Summit, entitled Open SaaS – Open Source in the Cloud, will highlight leading-edge open source initiatives and the increasing level of public-private partnership in major programs and agencies. As more and more programs opt for cloud-based solutions and software-as-a-service delivery models, open source software has become key to both implementation and interoperability. This Summit will address ways to optimize open source utilization and community involvement on this new playing field. Organizations, thought leaders, and speakers from around the globe will be present to showcase the best open source advancements from the past year. Previous Summits have included speakers from a wide range of government, public, and private institutions.
