HUD has issued an RFI for assistance with HUD’s Office of Healthcare Programs (OHP) for the Section 232 Risk Management Data Analysis and Reporting. HUD’s Office of Residential Care Facilities (ORCF) manages the Section 232 program, which enables affordable financing and refinancing options for nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and board and care facilities. The ORCF uses multiple tools and resources for data management and risk assessment of the residential care facilities in the portfolio, such as the integrated real estate management system (iREMS), the Development Application Processing tool (DAP), the 232 Healthcare Portal, and a team of internal risk evaluators. The team of internal risk evaluators surveys the media for news and updates and frequents the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) site to assess projects in our residential healthcare portfolio to identify current or potential credit loss risk.
ORCF seeks a contractor that can provide access to centralized real-time data analytics from federal, state, and local government, and private industry external systems throughout the healthcare field for the purposes of identifying current potential credit loss risk. By obtaining these services, ORCF will be able to improve its risk management processes and accomplish HUD’s mission of improving the way the agency does business.
Small businesses are encouraged to respond. The contemplated magnitude of the project is $2-4M.
