The VP of Corporate Growth ensures that business development strategy is implemented. He/She is accountable for the performance and results of Corporate Growth/Business Development. This position executes functional business plans and contributes to the development of functional strategies; identifies and develops opportunities for business expansion. The VP of Corporate Growth may conduct environmental scans, organizational positioning analyses and other studies. The role of the VP will provides leadership in the planning, designing, due diligence, and implementation of strategic business objectives. He /She will participate in corporate development of methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for projects, programs and people. This position will direct and control the activities of one or more functional areas, divisions, product or service groups, etc. through managers with overall responsibility for the direction of those assigned areas.
